Lavender hydrolat

Biofficina picked the lavender hydrolat for its multiple properties for the face and body, as well as for the hair and scalp.

It is also a base product, and it can be used in combination with other Biofficina Toscana cosmetics and in particular with the new and innovative shampoo concentrates. 

It originates from cultivations in the Maremma area, from a small organic farm that has joined the other Tuscan concerns with whom we work: the Azienda agricola bio Pian della Contessa organic farm situated near Sorano (GR). Should these crops be unable to satisfy our annual requirements, we will be able to use another lavender hydrolat, which is also pure and organic and originating from Italian cultivations too (from the Piedmont Langhe). 

Face and body:  with soothing and regenerating properties, it has a skin purifying effect and also tones and softens the skin. It is therefore recommended for impure skin as well as delicate and blotchy skin. It heals small skin blemishes such as insect bites and, thanks to its pleasant fragrance, it has a relaxing psychological effect too.

Hair and scalp: it has a soothing effect for irritations and stimulating the surface circulation of both the skin and scalp.

Suggested use: spray over the face and body as needed. You can also spray onto the hair since its acidic pH seals the hair fibre and makes it shine. Ideal for dilution of all Biofficina Toscana shampoo concentrates, especially the delicate variety for all hair types.
